The May 18 Academy is designed for international civil society activists in 2004. It was renamed the May 18 Academy and course for Korea civil society activists was suspended in 2014. It is held yearly about two weeks education/training program in the second half year. This course provides special lectures to promote better understanding fo South Korea democracy movement history and of democracy, human rights, and peace, offering a valuable opportunity to share experience among participants.
