The May 18 Foundation proudly presents the sixth issue of the May 18 Glocal Issue Monitoring Report, which monitors the state of democracy and human rights around the world and conducts research and investigations on issues of international concern.

"Transitional Justice in Southeast Asia," was written by Abel Vijayakumar, a scholar who has steadily focused on transitional justice. This in-depth analysis of transitional justice in five Southeast Asian countries-Thailand, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, and Indonesia-explores how the different contexts and backgrounds of each country have led to turning points and unique distinctions of transitional justice. Welcome to the sixth issue of the May 18 GloCal Issue Monitoring Report, which explores how each country is moving toward democracy.
