The May 18 Memorial Foundation and KBS broadcasting station produced jointly the movie, "National Anthem at the time." It reconstructed the very moment of the mass shooting by the airborne at 1:00 p.m. on May 21, 1980 when the national anthem was playing. The movie shows the situation using several crosscutting testimonies, so that tries to find the truth at the time. It was embodied with May 18 collections of the KBS broadcasting station, testimonies, and so on. It also has a VR version for the indirect experiences of people. But there are no records or documents, or videos regarding this situation yet. We expect to receive trustworthy reports on Martial Law troops and mass shooing in the 1980s.
"National Anthem at the Time" has performed from May 18 to Jun 30 on the third floor in the May 18 Democratic Uprising Archives.
