Date : 2013-04-29     Hit : 2142

We are pleased to share with you, wesuccessfully conducted May 18 Peace Ambassadors- May Road Walking Touron 27 April 2013. To understand the May 18 Uprising more deeply, we start ‘theMay Road’ in front of the Provincial Hall with our May volunteer guide. Some students have already read inbooks, watched related movies or heard directly from their family as oralhistory. The walking would help them understand the history and how the May 18 DemocratizationMovement was formed and deepen their knowledge about the Uprising.

After the May Road Walking Tour, we conducted the second part – Groupdiscussion. We separated all students into 2 groups, discussing the followingquestions:

1.     Duringthe May Road Tour, we visited many historical sites. Which one is the mostimpressive one for you? Why?

2.     Whatis the spirit of the May 18 Uprising?

3.     Whywe need to remember the May 18 Uprising?

4.     Howcan you share the spirit of the May 18 Uprising to your friends and family?

BonusHowmany days did the May 18 Uprising last?

Both groups’ expressedtheir opinion actively and met the points. We believe it is the best opportunityto share different kinds of ideas regarding the May18 Uprising with each otherduring the May Road Walking. We will conduct the programuntil December, please keep your eyes on our May 18 Peace Ambassadors!
