Magazine: Volume 14 November 2019 Issue


Mayzine Volume 14 is online now and it includes a feature by Mr Ruki Fernando from Sri Lanka, who is well known human right activist and author of various articles he is sharing his views about the global situation of refugees raising of xenophobia, racism and concerns against refugees including refugees in Sri Lanka. In addition, a feature article from Ms Rachel the “Zooificiation of North Korean Refugees” who shared her thoughts social isolation of the North Korean refugee’s while living in South Korea.




Likewise, four articles from 2019 the May 18 Academy alumni who are sharing their perspectives regarding the refugee’s situation in their respective countries which is highly informative and urges to the international community to resolve refugees issue with global understanding. In last an article from our international staff member Mr Shahnawaz who sharing the plight of refugees with you and his recommendations so refugees can enjoy their rights and feel secure where ever they travel and live.




In last the latest volume is also sharing the Foundation activities. The Foundation is calling for the 2020 Gwangju Prize for Human Rights, therefore help us to spread this information to all those activist, individual and organization who are working for the human rights, democracy and peacebuilding so we acknowledge their efforts and struggle through the May 18 Spirit.
