The 2022 Gwangju Prize for Human Rights Awards Ceremony will be held on May 18 in the May 18 Democracy Square. This years laureate is a Myanmarese doctor, Cynthia Maung who is helping refugees for over thirty years. The awards ceremony will be enjoyed with Gwangju citizens outdoor for the first time.
