Goals
- Permanent respond and inform the truth to eliminate distortions and denigrations of The May 18 Pro-democracy Movement.
- Identify those who are ordered to fire, investigate the dark burial and missing persons, shoot helicopters and find out the facts of unsolved tasks.
Main Projects
- Taking legal actions against historical distortion of the May 18
- Monitoring of historical distortion against the May 18 : Website, Media, and Youtube.
- Collecting oral histories from soldiers, army officers, witnesses, and survivors of the May 18.
- Management of Advisory Committee for the May 18 Truth Finding
- Receive calls from people who witnessed the May 18 : 93 cases (including 48 cases which were reported by citizens in 2017)

- Applied for an injunction to the court to stop Chun Doohwan's revised memoirs to be published and distributed, and put in a claim for its damages - Sued Chun Doohwan for libel against Father Cho Pius - Sued Ji Manwon for libel against Gwangju - Proceeds with a lawsuit against Ji Manwon and his website Newstown, seeking an injunction against the issuance and distribution of the newstown. - Put in a claim against Ji Manwon and his making videos to distort the historical fact of the May 18 and its damages |
